A jam weekend worth the trip

moe.down returns July 16-18 at the historic West End Fairgrounds in Gilbert, PA, with moe., Umphrey’s McGee, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Cabinet, and a full weekend built for jam fans.

Founded by moe. in 2000, moe.down has long been one of the scene’s beloved band-curated festivals, with past lineups featuring Bob Weir, Levon Helm, The Black Keys, The Flaming Lips, The Disco Biscuits, Derek Trucks, Railroad Earth, Lotus, Ween, Umphrey’s McGee, Bruce Hornsby, and more.

This year’s lineup has plenty for the .rons, but it is not just for the already converted. Beyond the headliners, moe.down reaches back to longtime jam favorites like Ominous Seapods, Conehead Buddha, and Moon Boot Lover while also spotlighting next-wave acts like Neighbor, lespecial, and artist-at-large Kanika Moore.

At the center of it all, of course, is moe. Across the weekend, fans can expect multiple moe. sets, special sit-ins, surprise moments, and a full spread of moe.-related projects, including bob., Ha Ha the Moose, Ghosts of Jupiter, and moe.rgan Fairchild Plays Dead.

This year also marks the debut of The Moe.seum, an immersive installation celebrating 35+ years of moe. history, festival lore, fan memories, and the long-running world that has grown around the band.

This year’s new location brings moe.down to an intimate 3,500-capacity setting in Gilbert, PA, within easy reach of Philly, NYC, Allentown, Scranton, and Wilkes-Barre. Fans can build the weekend their way with on-site camping, nearby hotels, and family-friendly stay packages, including waterpark access for those bringing kids or anyone looking for a little extra comfort between sets.

For longtime fans, it is a homecoming. For everyone else, it's a chance to step into one of the most beloved band-built weekends in the jam scene.
