Rising professional singers and collaborative pianists present an adventurous recital in this culminating moment of SongStudio. Created with Artistic Director Anthony Roth Costanzo, maverick artist and director Doug Fitch, and pianist and scholar Javier Arrebola, this performance pushes the idea of a vocal recital into new territory as artists boldly experiment with form, storytelling, visuals, and imagination. Audiences are invited to reconsider what a classical performance can look like, gaining unexpected musical perspectives from extraordinary rising artists who trained with some of the world’s top performers in SongStudio.
