Are you Bluegrassing this year?
It's a family affair!
Howdy music lovers,
It's spring on the Western Slope! As everything begins to blossom and warm, we have our sights set on upcoming live music adventures. Will you be indulging in some Bluegrass this year? It's right in the backyard, after all...
The world-renowned Telluride Bluegrass falls June 19th-22nd, and tickets and camping are still available! This year's lineup includes Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, Zach Top, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Lake Street Dive, Sam Bush, and many more. You can spend the transition into summer under the solstice moon, surrounded by mountains, being serenaded by your favorite artists- what a dream!
The best part? Kids 12 and under are free with a ticketed adult, and the family friendly opportunities are endless. Encourage your kiddo to cast a line in the stocked kids-only fishing pond or romp in the nearby river. Visit the Family Tent within the festival grounds to enjoy specialized programming like puppet shows, face painting, flower crown making, and tie-dyeing. Indulge in a wide variety of food vendors, and find your new favorite festival outfit at one of the many craft booths.
Whether you're looking for a quick day trip to catch your favorite band or a longer camping experience immersed in the festival atmosphere, Telluride Bluegrass may be your perfect close-by adventure. Don't miss out!
