On Tuesday evening, Billy Strings disclosed details about his imminent Halloween concert, set for Friday, October 31, 2025, at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore. Keeping with tradition, the event will lean into theatrics, only this time, the ensemble will evoke a Universal Monsters theme, titled “Meet Me at the Crypt,” as a nod to the band’s Turmoil & Tinfoil classic, “Meet Me at the Creek.” Special guests, including members of Leftover Salmon and more, have also been added to the bill.

On Tuesday evening, October 7, Greensky Bluegrass arrived at The Historic Bama Theatre in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where they turned in the latest stop on their Fall Tour. During the concert’s first half, the band positioned a cover of the Grateful Dead’s Go to Heaven cut, “Alabama Getaway,” in the second-to-last slot before set break. Its arrival represented a debut, as this group of players had never performed the Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter credited number before.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced the presenters and performers for its 2025 induction ceremony, set to stage at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater on Nov. 8. Eric Krasno, Cory Henry and Robert “Sput” Searight have joined forces to form The Heavyweights on a new Relix Sessions vinyl release. Captured during their debut staging at Los Angeles’ The Mint on July 29, the supergroup of funk firebrands’ first recording features ripping takes on iconic songs, reinvented in their distinctive emerging language of guitar, keyboard and drums. The trio’s live recording is only the beginning of a promising run, extended with the announcement of new dates in 2026.

Jorma Kaukonen will celebrate his 85th birthday on the road, accompanied by a roster of collaborators and musician friends. On Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, the storied jam ensemble will join forces with progressive bluegrass giants The Infamous Stringdusters for a two-night stand at The Joy Theater in New Orleans; today, they’ve proclaimed that the engagement’s ordering theme will “Jamalot: A Quest for the Grail.”
