Bob Dylan’s roadrunner status ceases to fade. After turning in the latest European leg of his perpetual Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour, the Greenwich Village bard has added an extensive series of live performances to his calendar. The impending run will begin on March 21 at the Orpheum Theater in Omaha, Neb., and conclude over a month later on May 1 at the Abilene Auditorium in Abilene, Texas.

Last night, Billy Strings returned to the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky. The performance served as the finale of a two-night run that began on Friday with the special guest appearance of fiddling great and bluegrass torchbearer Michael Cleveland, who joined the group for six compositions honoring the genre’s forefather and Kentucky native, Bill Monroe. Like the night prior, Cleveland returned to help the ensemble close their second set, adding heat to an expanded eight-song stretch that included a face-melting “Meet Me at The Creek” and regional odes curated especially for the occasion.

Dubbed Christmas Jam, the two-night musical event launched on Friday, Dec. 5, with a roster of special guests that included Ronnie McCoury, Maggie Rose, Kris Myers, Lindsay Lou, Kyle Tuttle and more, performing original songs, jam classics, and Yuletide odes on the Brooklyn Bowl Nashville stage. Billy Martin has launched a new charity fundraiser via Kickstarter. The percussionist is seeking financial support to help musicians, dancers, choreographers, and the tech crew at the Watermill Center in Watermill, N.Y., in Southampton. Money raised will fund a large-scale theatrical project, The Start of Wind, during its one-month April residency and assist performers with transportation, lodging, meals, and other essential expenses.
