A truly one-of-a-kind item is up for bid: a 1.5-inch section of Bob Marley’s dreadlock is being listed by UK-based JC Auctions, with an estimated cost of £20,000 to £25,000 GBP (over $30,000 USD). According to the item description, the lock of hair was acquired by the consignor as a teenager and is paired with a signature that reads, “To Andrea, Love Bob Marley.”

As the long-awaited return of moe.down quickly approaches, moe. have announced another special live event, this time inviting their fans to two nights of music at Grundy County, Tenn.’s The Caverns. On July 31 and Aug. 1, the foundational jamband will head to the hallowed underground venue for moe.down Underground, featuring a total of six sets from the hosts, plus special guests and an array of other activities.

The Philadelphia Flyers have announced the return of their tie-dye tradition known as Grateful Dead Night. The event, which will take place on April 14, 2026, at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, marks the fifth time the host team has invited fans out for an evening of songs and imminent face-offs. The evening ahead will see the team play against the Montreal Canadiens.

On Tuesday evening, Jeff Tweedy took his current live outing to Portland, Ore.’s Revolution Hall, for the first in a two-night series of performances. During the event, which arrived in support of Tweedy’s latest triple solo album, Twilight Override, the bandleader reprised his current concert motif of nodding to the city or particular residents during the concert’s encore. Last night’s delivery struck a personal chord for Tweedy, who welcomed an old friend and collaborator, Scott McCaughey, on the Minus 5-released, Tweedy-produced “Dear Employer,” before the band and their guest sparked Pacific Northwest standard, “Louie Louie.”

The Festival International de Jazz de Montréal has announced its full lineup for 2026. The 46th annual presentation of the esteemed music festival will host more than 350 concerts (more than two-thirds of which are free) from June 25 to July 4, spotlighting both time-honored acts and rising stars in jazz and range of related styles. This year’s bill is led by headliners like Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire, St. Vincent, Max Richter, Diana Krall, WILLOW, Smino and Patrick Watson.
