The Great South Bay Music Festival has added a distinctive hallmark to its imminent programming, slated for Shorefront Park in Patchogue, N.Y., from July 23 through 26, 2026. During the event’s final day, a one-off Bob Weir celebration will bring together members of the progressive bluegrass community, rock-rooted players, and jazz-trained innovators with an Americana lilt on a single stage to share in the songs and spirit of the Grateful Dead, by way of the group’s venerable rhythm guitarist.

No Doubt arrived in Las Vegas last night to set off their 12-show residency at the technologically unmatched arena. The Gwen Stefani-fronted ska punk outfit’s kick-off performance was its first full headline show since a series of festival dates in 2015, and the band marked the momentous occasion by adding some songs that had left its live repertoire before the hiatus to its 21-track set.

Blackberry Smoke have renewed their passports for another destination concert vacation. The band known for Southern revival, mixed with a hefty swig of rock, blues, and folk incantations, will present their second annual High Tide Getaway just ahead of winter. From December 4-8, 2026, music will return to the oceanfront and all-inclusive Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.

Yard Act have announced their third album, You’re Gonna Need A Little Music. Arriving on July 17 via Island, the Leeds post-punk quartet’s follow-up to 2024’s Where’s My Utopia? marks a major creative advancement with the embrace of a newly focused recording process guided by their own ambitions, rather than external pressures. To preview the set, they’ve shared the lead single, “Redeemer,” set to a disquieting music video.

Nick Cassarino will record a live album at New York’s famed The Bitter End during the coming months. The Vermont-bred, New York-based musician, known for his collaborations with Jennifer Hartswick and work as a member of The Nth Power, first played the storied Bitter End 16 years ago and has continued to work out unique arrangements of covers and original music around the city ever since.

Molly Tuttle and Lukas Nelson have announced a series of co-headlining tour dates, which will bring the pair through the Northeast in early September for five live engagements. According to an overview of forthcoming jaunt, both musicians will perform full sets of music culled from their independent song banks before coming together for specialty collaborations that highlight the pair’s kindred sound.
