Few bands have shaped groove culture quite like Cymande. Emerging from South London in the early 1970s, the group created a sound all their own—melding deep funk, Afro-psychedelia, Caribbean rhythms, jazz, and soul into music that was both spiritual and irresistibly danceable.

Though their original run was brief, Cymande’s influence has only grown with time. Their recordings became holy grails for crate diggers and were famously sampled by hip-hop pioneers including De La Soul, Gang Starr, and The Fugees—cementing their legacy across generations of music lovers.

Now re-energized and back on the road, Cymande bring their timeless grooves to the stage with founding members Patrick Patterson and Steve Scipio leading a powerhouse band. Expect classic tracks, expansive rhythms, and the unmistakable vibe that made them legends.
