Don't Miss the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival!
You can even tube your way into the festival grounds if you want...
Are you on the hunt for an excellent time on the front range this August? Something with, say...incredible live music, river romping, and a welcoming community? Might we suggest the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival in Lyons, Colorado? This 3-day music festival, held August 8th-10th, has a rocking variety of artists on their lineup, from classics like The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Lee Fields to supreme songwriting duo Watchhouse and rootsy The Devil Makes Three. And that barely scratches the surface!
The St. Vrain river runs directly through the festival grounds, which is just 30 minutes from the beautiful oasis of Rocky Mountain National Park. You can settle your feet in the river while watching music on the main stage or enjoying intimate workshops in the open air Wildflower Pavilion. The grounds are chock-full of talented craft and delicious food vendors.
Beyond the music, this Folks Festival is a true celebration for all ages. Kids 12 and under are free and welcome to explore a variety of family friendly activities including (but not limited to) arts and crafts, flower crown making, face painting, and a unique "instrument petting zoo" where they have the opportunity to play and try out a variety of instruments.
Weekend, individual day, and camping passes are available now. Grab yours before they're all gone!
