The Eagles have extended their Sphere schedule. The Southern California soft rock troupe known for country-dipped ‘70s era chart-toppers “Hotel California,” “Take It Easy,” “One of These Nights,” and countless others has added two additional weeks of concerts to their Las Vegas residency, totaling four new shows on the state-of-the-art stage, on January 23-24 and 30-31, 2026.

Last night, Sept. 8, Umphrey’s McGee returned home to Chicago for the official premiere of Blueprints, their long-awaited 15th studio album and first since 2022’s Asking for a Friend. Onstage at Garcia’s Chicago, the intimate and acoustically refined new venue, restaurant and jam haven in the heart of their Windy City stomping grounds, the genre-bending jam quintet marked the start of a new era with an evening packed with musical breakthroughs and fan service. One of the event’s most memorable highlights came as a last-minute surprise, when the group welcomed special guest appearances from Warren Haynes and Karina Rykman.

Big Ears Festival has shared the initial artist lineup for its 2026 staging, set to return to downtown Knoxville, Tenn., from March 26-29. With its forthcoming presentation, the pioneering musical institution will issue yet another eclectic program of boundary-breaking artists across genres, amounting to over 250 events across more than 20 venues. David Byrne, Robert Plant, Pat Metheny, Flying Lotus, Laurie Anderson and John Zorn are among the top names in the litany of icons.

In January, a star-studded assembly of musicians will take part in the return of Freezing Man, a two-night benefit concert for the epilepsy-oriented non-profit organization Joey’s Song. The Barr Brothers have announced a series of performances opening for Mumford & Sons. From Oct. 8-20, the indie-folk duo of Andrew and Brad Barr will accompany the London-based folk rock trio on the next leg of their sprawling world tour, celebrating the release of Rushmere, their fifth studio album. The nine-stop series, which follows drummer, singer and songwriter Andrew Barr’s extended stint as live drummer on Mumford & Sons’ tour, will arrive as the first phase of The Barr Brothers’ fall tour, which will continue from Nov. 4-29. The newly announced dates will also lead to the release of Let It Hiss, The Barr Brothers’ highly anticipated new studio album.
