Celebrate a weekend of music, art, and community at the award-winning Black Swamp Arts Festival. From September 11–13, downtown Bowling Green will transform into a vibrant hub featuring over 150 fine artists and a full lineup of free concerts from local, regional, national, and international acts.

Ohio's largest free music and arts festival has two art shows: the Festival's Juried Art Show, showcasing artists from across the globe, and the Wood County Invitational, highlighting the work of talented local creators.

Kids and adults alike will love the Youth Arts Village, where their creativity can soar by participating in make-and-take crafts like creating tie-dye shirts, building wood sculptures, or decorating their own unique paper hat! The Festival’s Teen Arts area features competitions like Beats on the Street (vocal ensemble competition) and Chalk Walk (chalk mural competition), where they can see local high schools compete to raise money for their school.

Enjoy live performances all weekend long on three stages! The Main Stage lineup features great acts like The Motet, Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears, Silverada, Magoo, and Miller & the Other Sinners with special guests Nikki D and the Sisters of Thunder! Black Swamp’s Family and Community stages offer more intimate sets from performers like The Go Rounds, Sankofa Sounds, Toraigh, and Freight Street.

Have we mentioned that Black Swamp Arts Festival is FREE!? With great food, local drinks, and creative energy around every corner, Black Swamp Arts Festival is Northwest Ohio’s must-attend event of the year.
