Every Deadhead Knows the Bears

Now they're something you can build: Grateful Dead × Brickcraft

Every Deadhead knows the bears.

Bob Thomas put them on the back of History of the Grateful Dead, Volume 1 in 1973: five marching bears that were never meant to be a logo, and somehow became the most recognizable mark in rock 'n' roll. They've lived on tapestries, bumpers, and the back of every road-worn denim jacket to ever see a Dead show.

Now they're something you can build.

Introducing the first-ever Grateful Dead × Brickcraft collection: a limited run of fully posable, officially licensed brick-built Dancing Bears, starting with Stealie Blue and Ashbury Orange: 387 pieces each.

Every limb articulates for collector display. Stand them on a shelf mid-stride, sit them next to your turntable, pass one to the friend who's been taping shows longer than you've been driving.

Each bear holds a unique brick-built ticket from a real Grateful Dead show right in its paws - a little (literally) piece of Dead history. There's also a secret stash compartment in the back. What goes in there is between you and the bear.

Stealie Blue and Ashbury Orange are just the opening chord. More colors, and more of the Dead, are coming later this year. Limited run right now and marching fast.
