The Fall 2025 edition of Relix features Billy Strings. From elite athlete, filmmaker, artist, and pledged deadhead Chris Benchetler comes a new theatrical experience inspired by the world of extreme sports and set to the music of the Grateful Dead. Mountains of the Moon takes viewers from snowcapped summits to rushing rivers and out to sea. Shot beneath the night sky, the film aims to evoke light through skeletal suits worn by top athletes, conveying the visual cue that underneath it all, we’re just bones. The official movie trailer dropped today, Oct. 30. Mountains of the Moon hits theaters globally on Nov. 14.

Umphrey’s McGee will take their high-flying fusion abroad next year with Deep Dive, a new destination festival. Staging at the Moon Palace Cancún Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico – home to beloved signature events from Phish and Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds – from April 30 to May 3, the progressive jam outfit’s next adventure will unite their peers and fans for four days of live music within a lavish all-inclusive environment.

Lucinda Williams has announced her 16th studio album, World’s Gone Wrong. Set to release on Jan. 23 via her own Highway 20 Records, the Americana icon’s follow-up to 2023’s triumphant Stories from a Rock n Roll Heart confronts the trouble in America’s socio-political landscape with the sort of direct, uncompromising and inspiring songwriting that only she can channel. To preview the project, Williams has shared the title track, alongside a live performance video.

There would be no Austin City Limits were it not for Willie Nelson. He started it all in 1974, performing on the original pilot episode, and has been a large part of ACL history ever since. He's appeared on more programs than any single artist, but this particular show (recorded on September 6, 1990) captures him and the family band at their best. Kevin Scott’s All-Star Holiday Revival concert is set to take place on December 18, 2025, at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta. The 10th anniversary event will feature a rotating lineup of top-tier musicians performing a funky, festive set of songs that will range from borrowed numbers by highly regarded favorites James Brown, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Black Sabbath, and Frank Zappa, to holiday standards, striking a balance by offering a bit of everything.

Mumford & Sons have announced a new album. Prizefighter, the British folk-rock band’s sixth studio release, will arrive via Island Records on February 13, 2026. The project’s formal introduction arrived only seven months after Rushmere, which was Mumford & Sons’ first new release in seven years. Last week, the trio heralded their next chapter with the new single “Rubber Band Man,” featuring their longtime collaborator Hozier.
