Holly Bowling steps fully into the spotlight across Walking With Giants Vols. 1 & 2, collecting both limited edition vinyl releases from The Relix Sessions in one bundle. Together, these records present two sides of the same project: Vol. 1 focused on Grateful Dead material recorded in a single night, and Vol. 2 on Phish selections captured across multiple venues and dates.

Vol. 1 is an all–Grateful Dead release recorded live at Garcia’s Chicago on May 30, 2025, featuring deep, side-long interpretations of “Althea” and “Dark Star.” Vol. 2 leans mostly Phish, recorded from 2023–2025 with performances captured at The Chapel (San Francisco), The Double E (Essex Junction), The Drake (Amherst), and Garcia’s Chicago (May 31, 2025).

Both volumes are mixed by Holly Bowling and mastered by Jesse Lauter. Together they offer a cohesive listen across two LPs, highlighting Bowling's ability to improvise heavily on familiar songs, jamming with the emotional force and sonic scope of an entire band -- or even orchestra -- on a single, grand piano.
