Glass is Dead: A Grateful Pipe Exhibition

Honoring the Dead lot roots of an American folk art phenomenon

The Psychedelic Arts and Culture Trust (PACT) honors the Dead lot roots of an American folk art phenomenon with “Glass is Dead: A Grateful Pipe Exhibition,” featuring functional glass pieces from the 1990s to present day.

Presented by The Chambers Project and curated by renowned glass artist Banjo, this exhibition will highlight fifteen borosilicate glass pipe artists whose work have been informed and inspired by the music and culture of the Grateful Dead.

Highlights Include:

  • Original glass pipes from 1994 Dead tour

  • Modern masterpieces created specifically for this show

  • Live music, live glass blowing and live painting by Furtherrr Collective!

We’ll kick off Saturday night at 5pm with a panel discussion of leading glass artists leading into live music by Pete Sawyer & The Left Hand Monkey Wrench Gang starting at 7:30pm!
