2025 is Goose’s year. In the last eight months, the quartet has cemented itself as not only a fixture in jam, but also as crossover stars in the broader alt-rock world with the release of their triumphant fourth studio album, Everything Must Go, and high-profile bookings like New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Newport Folk Festival and New York’s hallowed Madison Square Garden. Along the way, they’ve also weathered a lineup change, debuted their Viva El Gonzo destination festival and announced its 2026 follow-up, reached new heights of instrumental prowess on a titanic tour and made their first TV appearance on CBS Saturdays. Somehow, it seems they’ve also found time to record, as evinced by today’s fresh single, “Royal.”

This past weekend, Grahame Lesh pulled double duty. The son of the founding member of the Grateful Dead, Phil Lesh, served as the bandleader for the three-night Heart of Town concert series at San Francisco’s Pier 48, leading a roster of over 60 jam scene elites through material from the original band’s lionized catalog. He also participated in nightly sit-ins with Dead & Company at the Polo Field in Golden Gate Park, bringing out his dad’s Big Brown bass and conjuring its historic tone during the second set of each concert. Following the events, Lesh took to social media to share photos, thanks and an update on his forthcoming live appearances.
Now full-band signed, this incredible piece by Scarlet Fire Guitars was donated to support Grateful Guitars Foundation’s mission to fund gear and music education for future players. Own a singular piece of jam band history and help keep the music alive for generations to come.

Their return to the Golden State on Wednesday brought the series’ most exhilarating set yet, featuring a staggering six special guests.

On Tuesday, August 5, moe. set off the latest leg of their 2025 Summer Tour with a performance at Lexington, Ky.’s The Burl. Beyond the continuation of their 35th anniversary celebration, last night’s show marked the celebrated jam ensemble’s first date in a six-night run with support from Eggy, who made their debut performance as a trio during bassist Mike Goodman’s mental health hiatus. Together, the bands distinguished the occasion–and nodded to the Grateful Dead’s 60th anniversary celebration over the weekend–with a collaborative cover of “Deal.”
