Nearly 40 years ago, a sculpted bust of Jim Morrison, singer, songwriter, poet, and face of The Doors, was removed from his final resting place at the Cimetière du Père-Lachaise in Paris. Morrison passed away at the tender age of 27, leaving behind a rampant fanbase. Despite his 1971 death, the symbolic cloaked carving was taken in 1988 and was only recently recovered by local authorities.

Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band have announced a series of fall tour dates. The iconic ensemble, fronted by The Beatles’ longtime backbeat with support from Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, Gregg Bissonette, and Buck Johnson, forecasts a schedule dominated by live appearances at Las Vegas’ Venetian, in addition to a handful of Midwest outliers and a Golden State standalone.
