Jim Morrison’s Parisian Funerary Bust Recovered After Nearly 40 Years

Nearly 40 years ago, a sculpted bust of Jim Morrison, singer, songwriter, poet, and face of The Doors, was removed from his final resting place at the Cimetière du Père-Lachaise in Paris. Morrison passed away at the tender age of 27, leaving behind a rampant fanbase. Despite his 1971 death, the symbolic cloaked carving was taken in 1988 and was only recently recovered by local authorities.

Ringo Starr Forecasts Fall 2025 Tour
