Today, Southern rock troubadours Little Feat have announced The Last Farewell Tour, a title that draws on 1975’s The Last Record Album and the group’s historic decision to begin the process of retirement. Original member Bill Payne spoke about the imminent change and the group’s intention to settle down in an interview with Rolling Stone and an official statement. They also shared a new single, “Feathers and a Smile,” a previously unreleased track written by the late co-founder, Lowell George, and featuring his daughter, Inara.

DelFest has unveiled the initial artist lineup for its next event. In 2026, the beloved bluegrass mainstay will return for another Memorial Day weekend celebration at its longtime home of Cumberland, Md.’s Allegany County Fairgrounds from May 21-24. Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country has uploaded an extensive list of winter tour dates, which will arrive in support of his August-released studio album, Horizons. On November 7th, Kitchen Dwellers led a packed crowd at Philadelphia’s Underground Arts on a sort of guided tour of eastern Pennsylvania, both past and present, in Philly and beyond, on and off the beaten path. After the prior night’s gig 100 miles west in Harrisburg, the jamgrass innovators made the most of their time in Philly and played two sets of music inspired by the eastern part of the commonwealth.
