Marcus King & Friends | May 27 | Nashville Municipal Auditorium 🎸
Darling Blue Tour comes to Nashville with an all-star lineup you won't want to miss.
Marcus King returns to Nashville on May 27 for a homecoming show worthy of the moment. Darling Blue, his first record with his full band since 2018 blends country, folk, psychedelic rock, and Motown R&B. It's the album that brought King back to himself and this night is the celebration.
The friends list is stacked. Mickey Raphael has held down the harmonica chair for Willie Nelson since 1973 and has played on more American classics than most people have heard. Paul Franklin is one of Nashville's most storied pedal steel players with thousands of sessions and a Steel Guitar Hall of Fame induction to his name. Jen Hartswick is a founding member of the Trey Anastasio Band who has shared stages with Santana, Tom Petty, and The Rolling Stones. Lamont Landers is the Alabama soul and Southern rock force signed to Dave Cobb's Lucille imprint at MCA Nashville. Billy Contreras is a Nashville fiddle and jazz violin polymath ranging across bluegrass, Western swing, and beyond.
Support from Georgia-bred Willow Avalon, whose debut Southern Belle Raisin' Hell turned heads in early 2025, and Atlanta's Penelope Road, whose soulful, 70s-soaked sound is one of the more exciting things coming out of the South right now.
