'Second Song' is the second studio album Neil Young has recorded with the band The Chrome Hearts. The album features seven songs written by Young. Five are previously unreleased, and two are unreleased versions.

“Casting Me Away From You” is a three-minute tune that appears on the Neil Young Archives. Young accompanied it with a backstory, which explains that it “is one of my early songs. I think I wrote it in 64 or 65."
