U2 will release their 16th album, Carnaval De Luz, on November 13 via Interscope Records. The set is the band’s first LP of new material in nine years. Along with the announcement, the quartet have dropped a brand-new track, “Silencio” and an accompanying music video.

Karina Rykman and her band will make their national television debut on CBS Saturday Morning this weekend. The program airs from 7-9 am ET. Though this is Rykman’s first time performing with her own group on a network television program, she has joined the house band on Late Night with Seth Meyers several times over the years.

Back in February, Neil Young cancelled his summer European tour with the Chrome Hearts. At that time he indicated, “Everything is OK. Just needed a break. Listening to my body.” Then in mid-August he confirmed two late September co-bills with Willie Nelson & Family in the days leading up to Farm Aid 2026.
DelFest’s bluegrass heart meets the Grateful Dead songbook again on DelFest Does Dead, Volume 2, a live 2-LP vinyl featuring 12 interpretations captured across DelFest 2026 (May 21–24, 2026), in Cumberland, MD. Festival favorites bring their own pulse and picking to Dead staples: The Travelin’ McCourys, Toy Factory Project, Blackberry Smoke, Maggie Rose ft. Sierra Hull, The Infamous Stringdusters, Peter Rowan, Shadowgrass ft. Heaven McCoury, Magoo, Gilbert Lee, Falco & Book, Buffalo Rose, and Sierra Hull.

The Disco Biscuits will stage a five-night run throughout Colorado this January. The quartet’s tour through the Centennial State will kick off at Aspen’s Belly Up on January 5, before making stops at Beaver Creek’s Vilar Performing Arts Center on January 6 and Denver’s Ogden Theatre from January 7-9.

Widespread Panic have confirmed their New Year’s plans. The Southern jam-titans will ring in 2027 with shows at Charlotte, NC’s Bojangles Coliseum on December 30 and 31. Though once a regular stop for the band, Widespread Panic have not performed in the Queen City since a December 31, 2014, show at Time Warner Cable Arena, which was also their most recent New Year’s gig in North Carolina.

Rainbow Body will release their self-titled debut on Friday, October 23. The ensemble, which brings together Taylor Goldsmith and Griff Goldsmith (Dawes), Rick Mitarotonda (Goose), Eric Krasno (Lettuce, Soulive), Ross James (Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band) and Adam MacDougall (Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Circles Around the Sun), recently recorded the set at Flóki Studios in Iceland. Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company, The Allman Brothers Band) and Nicki Bluhm also made guest appearances on the album.

Steve Earle has announced the details for his 12th annual John Henry’s Friends Benefit. The concert will take place at Port Chester, NY’s The Capitol Theatre on Friday, December 11. Though in recent years Earle has hosted a song swap with an eclectic mix of musicians during the benefit, this time he will use the show to present The Waterboys’ Fisherman’s Blues Revue. Earle, who has been on the road in Europe with The Waterboys, will join them for what is being billed as their only North American Fisherman’s Blues Revue performance. The night nods to the group’s acclaimed 1988 LP, Fisherman’s Blues and also featuring material from Earle’s extensive catalog.

The Nth Power grew out of a jam session held during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival almost 15 years ago, and that event’s communal spirit continues to inform the funk outfit to this day. In May, the groove-driven trio dropped their fourth studio set, Alone Together, a spirited collection of original material that focuses in on the themes of hope, unity and healing.

He’s much more comfortable extolling the virtues of longtime collaborators such as David Nelson or recent cohorts like Stephen Inglis. But make no mistake about it, Barry is a badass.
