Southern rock has deep roots at the Beacon Theatre. The Allman Brothers Band made its debut on the legendary New York stage with a four-night run in 1989, then went on to perform a staggering total of 238 shows through their unforgettable final concert in 2014. In 2011, while the genre’s immortal forebears were cementing their legacy with that last act, the Beacon welcomed the celebrated torchbearers of the Tedeschi Trucks Band for the first time.
