Previously, Maybe It Was The Roses Music Festival populated its May 29-31 itinerary, which teased the inclusion of a new ensemble dubbed Dead Aces. Without an explanation of the lineup or a chord that plugged in a detailed history, the chosen musicians instead shared a simple graphic: a skeleton adorned in a wolf spirit hood and holding up the ace card. This marker delineated their inclusion in the unknown group and impending festival format.

Since The Rolling Stones released Hackney Diamonds in 2023, rumors have swirled around another Andrew Watt-produced offering from the legendary rock group. It now appears that the band’s 25th studio album is in the throes of a mysterious viral marketing campaign behind the pseudonym of The Cockroaches, an old Stones alias. Over the weekend, the band let loose the first complete preview track from the project as a limited 12-inch single, uploaded in full through a fan’s vinyl rip.

For those unable to make it to Phish’s imminent residency at the state-of-the-art Sphere venue, there’s still hope to tune in and listen to the group’s slate of nine sold-out concerts. During the band’s forthcoming arrival in Sin City, the Northeastern-bred foursome will put on three weeks of concerts, divided into three-night sections on April 16-18, April 23-25, and April 30-May 2, all of which will be livestreamed via SiriusXM’s Phish Channel 29.

The Minnesota-bred artist has filled a gap in his live schedule by adding six new appearances, slated to begin after the final Midwest date on the current Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour, July 8 in Chicago. The new list of concerts picks up on Friday, July 10, at the PNC Pavilion at Riverbend in Cincinnati.
