The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has pieced together a first-of-its-kind presentation of Paul McCartney and Wings’ decade-long tenure. The Midwest site, dedicated to preserving and bolstering rock’s perennial heritage, will open its doors on May 15, 2026, and offer the public access to the bassist’s triumphant sophomore season and follow-up to his global reign as a member of The Beatles.

In a new interview with Tool’s Danny Carey, the influential drummer spoke about the band’s interest in participating in a Sphere residency in connection with their forthcoming album [2027]. The timekeeper went so far as to reveal that he had already toured the technologically advanced facility. With regard to its cinematic capacity and the group’s own commitment to delivering a fully immersive experience, he posed the possibility of joining the roster of greats who have already taken the stage.

“In April 2024 Dark Star Orchestra played Hawaii for the first time,” keyboard player Rob Barraco recounts. “We were in Honolulu for two nights, and this guy Stephen Inglis opened for us. He played slack key Grateful Dead music and asked me to sit in. I was like, ‘Man, that’s really good,’ but I had no idea about the depth of what he could do.”

A new studio snippet posted to social media may foreshadow a meeting of the minds from some of the foremost artists in psychedelia and alternative rock. Yesterday, Feb. 18, Geese’s touring keyboardist Sam Revaz captured a moment from a casual jam featuring members of Tame Impala, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Geese and Pond. No collaboration has been formally announced, but given the stature of the players and their existing web of connections, just knowing they’re in the same room is enough to get excited about.

Luck Presents has unveiled the full artist lineup for this year’s Luck Reunion, led, as always, by Willie Nelson and presented at his famous ranch in Luck, Texas. The Reunion’s 14th annual celebration features more than 45 musical acts across a range of Western town set stages and side-programming, with performances from Lukas Nelson, St. Vincent, Booker T. Jones, Trampled by Turtles, Robert Lester Folsom and many more.

Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival has shared the artist lineup for its 2026 event, set to return to Oak Hill, N.Y.’s idyllic Walsh Farm from July 15-19. For its 26th annual presentation, the festival will draw bluegrass stars like Rhiannon Giddens & the Old-Time Revue, The Del McCoury Band, The Infamous Stringdusters and The Steeldrivers to lead a program of 42 total acts, with more to be announced as the bluegrass, newgrass, and roots music summit approaches.
