U2 will release their 16th album, Carnaval De Luz, on November 13 via Interscope Records. The set is the band’s first LP of new material in nine years. Along with the announcement, the quartet have dropped a brand-new track, “Silencio” and an accompanying music video.

Karina Rykman and her band will make their national television debut on CBS Saturday Morning this weekend. The program airs from 7-9 am ET. Though this is Rykman’s first time performing with her own group on a network television program, she has joined the house band on Late Night with Seth Meyers several times over the years.

Dave Butler, the multi-instrumentalist currently serving as touring member of Guster, has put together a special 50th anniversary tribute to The Band’s famed performance captured as The Last Waltz. The show will take place at Hopewell, NJ’s Hopewell Valley Stage on Saturday, November 7, boasting an eight-piece band, full horn section and multiple guest singers.

Steve Earle has announced the details for his 12th annual John Henry’s Friends Benefit. The concert will take place at Port Chester, NY’s The Capitol Theatre on Friday, December 11. Though in recent years Earle has hosted a song swap with an eclectic mix of musicians during the benefit, this time he will use the show to present The Waterboys’ Fisherman’s Blues Revue. Earle, who has been on the road in Europe with The Waterboys, will join them for what is being billed as their only North American Fisherman’s Blues Revue performance. The night nods to the group’s acclaimed 1988 LP, Fisherman’s Blues and also featuring material from Earle’s extensive catalog.

Gov’t Mule have expanded their New Year’s run. The group will now kick off the four-show trek at Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre on December 28 and 29. Audley Freed, who has augmented the quartet on the road in the past, will serve as a special guest.

The first day of Ocean City, MD’s Oceans Calling has been officially cancelled due to weather. A note from the festival explains, “Despite the extraordinary efforts of our production, site safety teams, and the city staff/officials the impacts of this week’s continued weather, including beach erosion that affected the festival site, have made it impossible to safely complete the build in time for Friday. As a result, Friday will not move forward as planned. The safety of our fans, artists, crew, and community must come first.”

Last night, Mumford & Sons rolled through Madison, WI for a performance at the Kohl Center. Marcus King Band opened the show and, during Mumford & Sons’ set, the group’s namesake guitarist emerged to play on “Here,” a track off the English outfit’s 2026 album, Prizefighter.

Yonder Mountain String Band have confirmed a run of winter shows. The Colorado-bred act will kick things off close to home with a two-night run at Denver, CO’s Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom & Cervantes’ Other Side on January 15 and 16 and route thought the country, before bringing the run to a close at Atlanta, GA’s Variety Playhouse on February 5. In addition, they have also announced upcoming multi-night stands a bit later in the year, with weekend stops set for Seattle’s Nectar Lounge on February 26 and 27 and Charleston, SC’s Pour House on March 25 and 26.
