On October 18, moe. rolled into Madison, Wis., for a performance at the Barrymore. Prior to the onset of the live show, Saturday afternoon saw massive turn outs from coast to coast, folks of all ages united in solidarity for the second annual No Kings protest, in opposition of Donald Trump’s unconstitutional remarks on a third term and other extensions of leadership. The day’s theme was set by the majority, a tonal match that was also excavated by the band and turned over as a setlist acrostic.

To commemorate five decades of spinning songs like “Come On Baby Let’s Go Downtown,” “Roll Another Number (For the Road),” the title track, and other enduring classics that defined the era and seared Shakey’s history into lyrics, the musician will issue Tonight’s the Night 50th Anniversary Edition on November 28, 2025, complete with six bonus tracks.

Tom Hamilton has made a career of pushing rock n’ roll boundaries. Over the last three decades Hamilton has fronted a cadre of bands including Brothers Past, American Babies and Ghost Light. He also sings and plays lead guitar in the juggernaut contemporary Grateful Dead cover band, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead.

I’m Your Vampire, Hamilton’s most personal effort yet, is out January 23rd on AWAL/Relix: a 10-song suite wreathed in tattered-flannel rock & roll that encapsulates Hamilton’s salvation in isolation, as he sorts through the darkness to find a pinpoint of light.

“I didn’t want to do a personal memoir. In fact, I really didn’t want this book to be about me at all,” Peter Wolf reveals, while describing how he came to write Waiting On The Moon: Artists, Poets, Drifters, Grifters and Goddesses. “I do a lot of reading and there are certain authors who bring their subjects to life. I’m thinking of Kenneth Tynan, Truman Capote, Christopher Isherwood and a fellow named Michael Korda, who did a memoir of his adventures in the publishing industry.”
