Bob Dylan Extends Rough and Rowdy Way Tour

NEWS

On Wednesday, Paul McCartney took to social media, where he teased his North American comeback. The spark of possibility caused a fan frenzy and enticed folks with the prospect of catching the great in song and story. The bassist and original member of The Beatles confirmed a series of concerts, beginning on September 29 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, Calif.

RECAP

Last night, July 9, Phish touched down in Columbus, Ohio for the first time since July 2000. Since that staging near the end of their first era, the foundational jamband has undergone countless evolutions in the 2.0, 3.0 and arguably 4.0 eras, and Wednesday’s performance was an apt representation of the sort of even-handedly retrospective and exploratory approach that’s made their 2025 touring so engaging. The Vermont quartet’s latest show was defined by the oddball ambitions of its setlist, pairing sleeper hits, bust-outs and some underrated jam vehicles for a performance that deftly moved from mellow lows to blissful highs.

"Narrowing down the Grateful Dead's touring career and live performances to 60 CDs, 20 venues, and more than 450 songs is hard enough. Narrowing THAT down for 3CD and 6LP sets is a monumental undertaking, but with so much great music to select from, it's one of the most enjoyable compilations we've ever assembled… This is a career-defining live collection filled with some of the greatest tracks performed at their greatest venues." - David Lemieux

Bob Dylan’s touring streak ceases to slow. The Greenwich Village bard has subtly dropped a series of concert dates that will take him to Europe, the UK, and Ireland this fall. The new slate of appearances effectively extends his Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour into late November. The first new date of this tour leg is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 16, at Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki, Finland.

Our latest archival poster drop features two vibrant variants from Brian Blomerth, each reinterpreting the 2/19/71 show in his unmistakably wild, animated style. Symmetry, skeletons, and lightning bolts never looked so trippy.

Two prints come from the surreal, technicolor mind of Brian Blomerth, reimagining the Grateful Dead’s 2/19/71 show with playful detail, cosmic symmetry, and dancing bears in motion. Also debuting is the first in a six-poster series from Brian Steely, a beautifully intricate take on the full run of The Capitol Theatre shows. Think art deco meets psychedelic bones and roses.

Prints hand-numbered and in limited editions of 200, 150, and 125. Grab yours now and bring home a piece of 1971.

RECAP

Last night, Wednesday, July 9, Dave Matthews Band took the stage at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Mich., approximately 40 miles outside of Detroit. As in past visits, the band brought out a regional guest, Usher’s musical director and previous live collaborator, Valdez Brantley, to sit in on select songs. Wednesday evening’s concert presented another chapter in their collective crossover, following a 2024 sit-in.

With a brand new album, his first-ever all blues collection, Dave Mason would love nothing more than to go out on the road and play. A Shade of Blues—released in March on the U.K.-born singer-songwriter and guitarist’s own Barham Productions label— had been percolating in his mind for quite some time.

Like privates when a general enters the room, the Sam Grisman Project members snapped to attention. They played little harder, sung a little sweeter—the musicians deeper in concentration and louder in presentation even as they performed into microphones rather than through amplifiers—as Rowan led them through a joyous singalong of “This Land is Your Land” and dedicated a decidedly more-dour “Dustbowl Children” to the victims of Texas flooding.
