Phish brought their two-night stand at Savannah, GA’s Enmarket Arena to a close last night. The shows were the Vermont Quartet’s debut appearances in the Southern city, an increasing rare occurrence for a band that has been together for over 40 years.

Brooklyn, NY’s Big Crown Records will mark its 10th anniversary by hosting a series of big shows throughout the country this fall. The label was founded in 2016 by Leon Michels and Danny Akalepse and has gone on to release recordings by Lady Wray, El Michels Affair, Marco Benevento, Bobby Oroza, Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band, Homer, Dave Guy, Thee Heart Tones, Thee Marloes and others.

DelFest’s bluegrass heart meets the Grateful Dead songbook on DelFest Does Dead, a live 2-LP vinyl featuring 10 interpretations captured across DelFest 2025 (May 22–25, 2025), in Cumberland, MD. Festival favorites bring their own pulse and picking to Dead staples: Del McCoury Band, The Travelin’ McCourys, Leftover Salmon, Kitchen Dwellers, Darrell Scott, Sister Sadie, Railroad Earth, Mountain Grass Unit, Clay Street Unit, and The Price Sisters. The result is a front-to-back journey of Grateful Dead covers filtered through Appalachia, high-lonesome harmonies, and hot-rod string band energy, mixed to be played loud.

Thundercat has confirmed a slew of new dates. The Distracted AF Tour will take the bassist, born Stephen Bruner, across the U.S. and Canada this fall, kicking off at Miami, FL’s Miami Beach Bandshell on October 2 and coming to a close with a special Holiday Hootenanny concert in Austin, TX on December 11. An eclectic mix of guests will support Thundercat along the way, including Channel Tres (DJ Set), TiaCorine, Fera, 54 Ultra and Kitty Ca$h.

For more than half a century, Bob Weir stood at the center of American music, a founding member of the Grateful Dead whose rhythm guitar work, distinctive baritone, and restless creative spirit helped define one of the most enduring legacies in rock history. Yet he was so much more than that as well. He was not only an inspiring artist, he was an inviting presence. He was a beloved figure and friend for millions of fans, to whom he was “Bobby.”

Lettuce have confirmed their New Year’s plans. The funk group will return to Miami Beach, FL’s The Miami Beach Bandshell for celebratory shows on December 30 and 31. The ensemble was previously slated to appear at the outdoor venue over New Year’s 2021-2022, but the shows were cancelled after the Omicron variant of COVID began surging. The group has played the Miami Beach Bandshell several other times, however, including sets at both the GroundUP Music and North Beach Music Festivals, a Jam Cruise pre-party show and on a bill with Steel Pulse.

moe. will return to Boston over Halloween weekend. The Buffalo-bred band will appear at The Wilbur on October 30 and 31, promising in a brief announcement accompanied by some groovy ’70s imagery that “something wicked is coming to Boston this Halloween.” An artist pre-sale is slated to begin Wednesday, July 15 at 10am and come to a close on Thursday, July 16 at 10pm local. The group last appeared at the historic venue, which originally opened in 1914 and has a capacity of around 1,200, in November of 2025.

The group has been been steadily introducing tour debuts over the course of the course its summer run. Last night was no exception, as the group tossed three such tunes into the mix.
