My Morning Jacket touched down in New York last night, Oct. 16, to set off their hotly anticipated three-night series at the Brooklyn Paramount. Two long years after their October 2023 run at the Beacon Theatre, the roots-rock standard-bearers’ triumphant return to NYC was well worth the wait, with night one’s setlist looking back on a pivotal chapter in their early catalog and introducing the city to the electrifying live translations of their 10th studio album, is.
