D’Angelo, the singer, songwriter and R&B innovator who helped to define neo-soul with three groundbreaking albums in the 1990s and 2000s, has died. He was 51.

Over the weekend, Tedeschi Trucks Band took their tour to the South. During the first of two nights in the region, the concert was held at Atrium Health Amphitheatre in Macon, Ga. It included an opening frame from longtime collaborator and Derek Trucks’ 90s-era Allman Brothers bandmate, Warren Haynes, and his Gov’t Mule ensemble. During the night’s jumping off point, more guests were added to the roster, including New Orleans great, George Porter Jr.
Shop curated bundles of original, never‑used backstage passes spanning 1983–1991. Sourced directly from the personal archive of Robbie Taylor, the Grateful Dead’s longtime stage and production manager who spent decades behind the scenes helping shape the band’s legendary live shows. These authentic production passes offer a rare glimpse inside the Dead’s inner circle.

On Friday evening, Billy Strings arrived at the Royal Albert Hall in London for the second-to-last appearance on his European Fall Tour. The concert also marked a debut: the first time Strings, Billy Failing, Royal Masat, Alex Hargreaves, and Jarrod Walker had joined in song on the grand and historic stage, which has hosted a multitude of elite guests over its 150-year history. The concert stirred up a mix of new and old material, birthday salutations to Failing, fitting lyric changes, and other exclusive moments that marked the beginning of the end of this stint across the pond.

Soft rock icons the Eagles, known for their contributions to the ’70s, have extended their residency at the top-of-the-line entertainment hub, Las Vegas’ Sphere venue. The newly tacked-on dates are intended to mark the 50th anniversary of the group’s first compilation album, Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975, considered one of the best-selling LPs in US history.

Carlos Santana has issued an official statement on a false story claiming that he criticized the NFL’s decision to book Bad Bunny for the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show. In a statement, the guitarist says: “I congratulate and celebrate Bad Bunny’s success and his position right now with the world and with the Super Bowl. I feel total oneness with what he’s doing because we are here to utilize art to complement and bring the world closer to harmony and oneness.”

Coming off the August 1 Puff of Smoke release, The Wood Brothers have announced their forthcoming appearance at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on March 5, 2026, in support of their latest studio efforts. The ensemble’s impending return to the Mother Church marks the fifth time it has played on the historic stage. It also aligns with the 20th anniversary of their debut album, Ways Not to Lose. The trio will be joined by The Luckiest Horns and TBA special guests.

J. Willis Pratt & We’re Bionic have confirmed a rare club date. The group will perform at The Den in Williamstown, Vt. on Wednesday, November 12. For this gig, the ensemble’s lineup will consist of Pratt, Phish’s Jon Fishman on drums, former RasinHill member John Kasiewicz on bass and Chris Martin on guitar.
