Country singer, actress and entrepreneur Dolly Parton has died. She was 80.

Toy Factory Project have confirmed their first-ever New Year’s Eve show. The all-star ensemble, which was formed to celebrate the legacy of Marshall Tucker Band co-founder Toy Caldwell, will ring in 2027 with a show at Atlanta’s historic Fox Theatre on December 31.

Before there was an internet, before there was a jam band scene with a name, there was a mimeographed newsletter passed hand to hand at shows, tracking who had the best soundboard from Barton Hall or the Fillmore East. That newsletter was Relix, born in 1974 out of the tape trading community that grew up around the Grateful Dead. Fifty years later, we're still here, and now we're bringing you an officially licensed Grateful Dead collection built by the people who've been documenting this scene since day one.

Rainbow Body have confirmed their first live appearance. The all-star project, which brings together Dawes’ Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, Goose’s Rick Mitarotonda, Soulive’s Eric Krasno, Terrapin Family Band’s Ross James and Circles Around the Sun’s Adam McDougall, will perform at Irvine, CA’s Irvine Bowl on October 23 as part of the Concerts in the Canyon series.

After unearthing a vast archive of music he’d composed for two major film-scoring projects in the early 2010s, James experienced a sudden rush of inspiration and transformed those fragments into an immersive work of soulful psychedelia. His first new solo album in eight years, Wowed Out arrives as a visionary new offering from one of the most adventurous artists in 21st century rock music.

Tame Impala have confirmed a series of 2027 European dates, where Kevin Parker and his bandmates will present their signature Deadbeat “in the round” stage show. The tour will include a mix of headline and festival appearances, kicking off May 28 in Manchester, England and boasting a two-night stand at The O2 in London on June 1 and 2. Wet Leg will open all headlining dates.

Shovels & Rope have joined the lineup for Little Feat’s upcoming stops in Charleston, SC. The group, who hail from nearby Johns Island, SC, will support Little Feat at the Charleston Music Hall on September 14 and 15. A note from Little Feat reads, “Little Feat are excited to announce that Shovels and Rope will be sitting in with us during the Charleston, SC shows on September 14 and 15.”

Nicole Atkins will make her Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday, September 12. The New Jersey-bred, Nashville-based musician will appear on the program as part of its extended 100th anniversary celebration, on a bill that also includes Gary Mule Deer, Caleb Caudle and Riley Downing.

Denver, CO’s Levitt Pavilion will close out their free 2026 concert series with a special Colorado Free Jam ft. Grahame Lesh & Friends on Saturday, October 3. In addition to Lesh, this version of the ensemble will boast Justin Mazer, Damian Calcagne, Ross James, Nathan Graham, Scott Padden and Elliott Peck.

Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools has confirmed a pair of special fall shows. The bassist will host Dave Schools & Friends gigs at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on November 5 and 6, bringing together Steve Kimock, Tom Hamilton, Jennifer Hartswick, Alex Koford, John Morgan Kimock and Adam MacDougall. Schools has organized Friends shows in the past, including a Charlotte, NC gig where Stephen Stills showed up.
