Roger Waters has issued a call for singers to front his son, Harry Waters’ Pink Floyd tribute band. An impetus for creative know-how during the British prog-rock band’s golden era, Sir Waters is aiding his son’s search for a lead singer to co-opt the lyrics and his own vocal register while singing revered picks like the low “Comfortably Numb” and high “Don’t Leave Me Now.” In a video announcing the search, Waters asks: “Are you the missing link?”

Strings & Sol, the destination concert event put on by Cloud 9 Adventures, has issued an official invite for its 13th annual music-fueled event. The all-inclusive concert vacation will return from December 9-13, 2026, to the Sapphire Resort & Spa, located in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.

This auction, presented by ANALOGr in partnership with Relix, brings together that hardware, and much more, in a single historic sale. McIntosh MC 2300 amplifiers that carried Garcia's signal through the Wall's towering arrays sit alongside the 1967 Fender Twin Reverb he played at Newport Pop Festival '68, later passed to John Cipollina of Quicksilver Messenger Service. Phil Lesh's original Dual Showman bass head is here, still bearing fragments of Courtney Pollock's tie-dye. Each lot carries direct, documented provenance traced to the band's inner circle, their personal estates, and their storage lockers. For those who believe that history lives in objects, this is where to look.

Vocal powerhouse and wordsmith, Maggie Rose, has announced the August 14, 2026, release of her new forthcoming studio record, Half Moon. As the first listen and initial preview of new material, Rose has unveiled the single, “Red Shoes,” a feel-good anthem driven by the need that fuels a Friday night on the town and the crimson descriptor that encases her glide to get paid, laid, and feel free.

A quiet but deeply evocative relic from the Grateful Dead's touring operation, this mid-1970s cymbal case comes directly from the estate of Lawrence "Ram Rod" Shurtliff, the Dead's head roadie and one of the most beloved figures in the band's extended family. This road-worn case would have traveled with the band across countless tours, carrying the percussion hardware that defined the Dead's rhythm section. For collectors of Grateful Dead road crew memorabilia, items from "Ram Rod's" personal estate are exceptionally rare.

This fall, Sturgill Simpson will head out on a North American tour as Johnny Blue Skies, backed by his Dark Clouds band. Simpson’s return to the road has gotten some traction in the past week, beyond the much-discussed live debut of the smoked-out dance floor country funk on Mutiny After Midnight, his second album under the new moniker, as some fans have complained about rising ticket prices. Simpson responded to that charge with a post clearly expressing that ticket prices have remained stable “because I insisted on it.”

StubHub has agreed to pay $10 million to settle with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission for violations of the Junk Fees Rule. Announced in 2024 under the Biden administration’s Lina Khan-led FTC, the Junk Fees Rule requires that ticketing and rental agents display the full price up-front. Alleged deceptive pricing occurred in the three days after the rule went into effect, and an injunction filed in the Southern District of New York orders the ticketing company to make payments to customers who purchased tickets within that window.

RECAP

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band took the stage at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum again last night to wrap the first multi-night booking on their Land of Hope & Dreams Tour. So far on the outwardly political cross-country run, Springsteen and his storied ensemble – plus special guest Tom Morello – have locked in a carefully crafted setlist packed with the frontman’s most urgent and impactful songs, serving as a springboard for extended reflections on the state of American democracy and explicit calls to action. In this themed three-hour cycle, they’ve managed to carve out a space for occasional surprises, and the band did that again on Thursday by adding a pair of tour debuts.

The Steve Bardwil Band has shared the first look at their official music video for the new single, “Something With You,” with Relix. The exclusive watch presents viewers with a steady, melodic composition, complemented by award-winning producer Andrew van den Houten’s visual narrative, which enhances the track’s lyrical themes of longing and underscores the refrain: “Gonna turn nothing into something with you.”
