Dec 17 in Fairfield: Grateful Dead mashups, legendary musicians and a great cause. Nearly sold out—grab your tax-deductible tickets!

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Stevie Van Zandt barely finished high school.

"I was that kid in the back wondering what any of this had to do with my life," he says.

That's why he founded TeachRock—using music to teach everything from history to career skills.

The results? Over 1 million students reached and inspired. And, starting in 2026, Connecticut teachers get free access and state approval to use TeachRock's curriculum too.

On December 17, Van Zandt is throwing a party at FTC Stage One in Fairfield to support those CT teachers—and tickets are nearly sold out.
