⚜️ The Meters Reunite in New Orleans — One Night Only ⚜️
This will sell out.
The Saenger Theatre in New Orleans on Saturday, May 2, 2026!
This special concert marks their first full show in nearly a decade and brings together surviving original members Zigaboo Modeliste, George Porter Jr., and Leo Nocentelli for a night of deep grooves, classic funk, and that unmistakable New Orleans sound. Also joining The Meters at The Saenger are longtime percussionist and vocalist Cyril Neville and keyboardist Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk), who will take the place of the late Art Neville, his uncle.
Formed in the 1960s, The Meters are credited with shaping the very definition of funk and helping put New Orleans on the musical map with classics like Cissy Strut, Look-Ka Py Py, and Hey Pocky A-Way. Their grooves have influenced generations of artists across genres, from hip-hop to jam bands and beyond.
Whether you’re local or headed to town for Fest, make sure this one’s on your calendar. Tickets are expected to move fast.
