Next year, The Rolling Stones do not intend to tour. Despite never officially announcing dates and locations of a supposed run, the six-decade blues-rock train will remain at the station in 2026, according to Variety. The report claims that the band’s original member and lead guitarist, Keith Richards, was unable to “commit” to the plan despite previous suggestions to the contrary.

Sweet Relief Musician Fund has announced its annual benefit concert, which will draw on the five-decade legacy and songs from blues great Taj Mahal. The one-night event will happen on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco. Taking part in the musical giveback are an astounding list of guests, including Van Morrison, Stevie Van Zandt, George Thorogood, Mike Campbell, Patty Griffin, and others.

This past year represented an extraordinary milestone for the Grateful Dead. The group debuted in 1965 and continues to inspire and elevate listeners in 2025. This vivid legacy is honored in the new Relix softcover book, 60 Years of The Grateful Dead Experience. The book spans 160 pages and encapsulates the entire run of the group from the Warlocks days on through the band members’ recent musical endeavors. 60 Years of The Grateful Dead Experience draws on the Relix perspective and archives to build this narrative through conversations with the musicians and complementary essays. The work further attains liftoff via more than 200 photos, more than half of which are previously unpublished.

Alt-country stalwarts, who hinge on the indie wire while spitting evocative lyrics that make the mundane meaningful, Wilco, have unveiled the official artist lineup for their biennial gathering at MASS MoCA in North Adams, Mass., Solid Sound Festival. Today’s announcement trails the news that the group would revive its 1998 release with Billy Bragg, Mermaid Avenue, on Friday, June 26. The Woody Guthrie-inspired performance has been titled “Way Over Yonder in The Minor Key,” after a track from volume one that features vocalist Natalie Merchant.

This spring, Vermont improvisationalist Phish will return to the state-of-the-art Sphere venue in Las Vegas for nine nights of music, April 16-18, April 23-25, and April 30-May 2. In tandem with the immersive concert experience, Brooklyn Bowl’s Sin City location has added more artists to its roster of After Shows, including a special Saturday, April 18 performance from Grahame Lesh & Friends, featuring Eggy’s Jake Brownstein, Dani Battat, New Orleans mainstay Alvin Ford Jr, Midnight North drummer Nathan Graham, and vocal powerhouse Kanika Moore.

The full artist lineup for the Music of Billy Joel benefit concert has been unveiled. Returning to the iconic stage of Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium on March 12, the 21st annual presentation of storied promoter Michael Dorf’s Music Of tribute series will salute the icon and raise funds for music education programs with a cast including Rufus Wainwright, The War and Treaty, Bettye LaVette, Joy Oladokun, Tanya Tucker, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Gavin DeGraw, Matt Nathanson, Alexa Ray Joel, O.A.R.’s Marc Roberge, Matchbox 20’s Rob Thomas and Train’s Pat Monahan, with more artists to be announced as the event approaches.

The String Cheese Incident have announced the return of their Campout in the Pines. Staging at Eau Claire, Wis.’s The Pines Music Park on August 14 and 15 of next year, the three-decade progressive bluegrass ensemble’s second annual weekend retreat will enlist a team of the jam scene’s most celebrated acts from across genres and generations, with Leftover Salmon, Lettuce, Eggy and Dogs in a Pile set to join in the celebration.
