On December 6, in Grass Valley, CA, The Chambers Project Gallery is hosting:

60 Years of the Grateful Dead, an exhibition of historic Original Dead artworks by Griffin, Mouse, Kelley, Moscoso, Wilson and all the fantastic freaks who built the Dead’s visual universe.

This is the real stuff. Hand drawn originals. Pen and ink, white out, paint on board. 

These are the Grails that almost never leave private hands.

Included in the exhibition:

• The Original 1900 A Skeleton Amidst Roses illustration
• Rick Griffin’s actual Hawaiian Aoxomoxoa drawing
• Bill Walker’s Anthem of the Sun painting masterpiece
• Hand colored Acid Test pieces from Bear
• And so many O.G. Dead works you have only seen in books

And on December 5, there is a once in a lifetime concert at The Bodhi Hive in Nevada City, CA with White Lightning, a Grateful Dead Supergroup featuring Grahame Lesh, Pete Sears, Barry Sless, John Molo, Elliott Peck and George Michalski. They’ll be playing all our GD favorites.
