Grahame Lesh & Friends, Lucius and Dawes, Madison Cunningham and More Perform at Inaugural Hudson River Music Festival

On Saturday, June 14, Grahame Lesh & Friends closed out the inaugural Hudson River Music Festival with a memorable take on a Grateful Dead-catalog classic, “The Music Never Stopped.” It was a fitting conclusion to the single-day event, which was held at Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y.’s Croton Point Park and grew out of Pete Seeger’s long-running Clearwater Festival/Great Hudson River Revival—a roots-leaning and environmentally conscious activist event held on the same site for decades until COVID placed its future in jeopardy.

Gov’t Mule Announce Back In The Saddle Tour

Gov’t Mule has announced a new series of live dates. Dubbed Back In The Saddle, the tour comes amid the band’s 30th anniversary of their self-titled 1995 debut LP, and serves as the first “big tour run” since February 2024. On the road, the quartet will perform in 18 cities, with their first newly unveiled appearance arriving on August 27 at the Aurora Pavilion in Milwaukee, Wis.

This release is Okayalright.

moe.’s First Live Vinyl Release Since 2017

Presenting moe. - The Relix Session, a limited-edition (LE 1,500), 4-LP album on alternating custom vinyl – two blue metallic concentrate discs and two green/yellow fluorescent concentrate discs. Recorded live on May 19, 2023 at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY, this show marked the second night of a three-night run. The performance followed moe.’s first appearance at the venue in four years, capturing the band in top form with a high-energy, career-spanning set.

Wilco Issue Invite for Fourth Annual Sky Blue Sky Destination Concert Event Featuring Dr. Dog, Dinosaur Jr., MJ Lenderman and More

Wilco has announced the fourth annual return of its destination concert event, Sky Blue Sky. The band-curated occasion will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya from January 15 through 19, 2026, and is slated to include three separate performances from the host, in addition to sets from a wide range of acts, helmed by Dr. Dog, Dinosaur Jr., and MJ Lenderman& The Wind.

Grateful Dead at The Capitol Theatre – November 7, 1970

Introducing the 9th installment in our exclusive archival poster series: Grateful Dead at The Capitol Theatre, 1970–1971. This limited-edition collection commemorates the late show on November 7, 1970, part of a historic 18-show run by the Grateful Dead at the legendary Port Chester venue.

Designed by renowned illustrator Max Loeffler, this designs blends his signature surrealist style with subtle nods to the Dead’s cosmic energy. A still life brought to life, the poster evokes the mind-bending spirit of the band’s early ’70s sets, equal parts earthy and otherworldly.

Guerilla Toss have returned with “Red Flag to Angry Bull,” the second preview from their sixth studio album, You’re Weird Now. Set to release on Sept. 12 via Sub Pop, the New York-based avant-garde psych-punk ensemble’s latest offering makes good use of their ever-expanding Rolodex of high-profile fans: Trey Anastasio shreds on the new single and provided his Vermont recording facility The Barn for studio sessions, while Stephen Malkmus provides backing vocals and produced the album.

Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers Outline Fall Run with Eggy

Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers have announced an intimate stretch of live appearances, scheduled for the East Coast. On the road, “The Way It Is” singer/ the Grateful Dead’s ‘90s collaborator will be joined by special guest Eggy for five stagings, beginning on Sept. 27 at The Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville, Va.

Billy Strings Welcomes Chris Thile and Punch Brothers for Extensive 13-Song Encore of Classic Bluegrass Covers

This past weekend, June 13 and 14, Billy Strings brought his ongoing tour to the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis. The first night was a journey through the band’s repertoire, with nods to almost-forgotten covers. The real surprise came on Saturday, during the concert’s finale. Strings, his musical ally Chris Thile, and the Punch Brothers delivered a show-stopping performance, collaborating on select numbers, with significant reference to classics from the bluegrass songbook.
