Phish returned to Alpharetta, Ga.’s Ameris Bank Amphitheatre last night for their second night at the familiar venue and the fifth performance in their eight-stop late-summer tour. As the legendary jamband moved to the second half of their final tour of 2025, the momentum from the road charged an energetic two-set performance featuring the series’ most expansive jam yet.

David Byrne embarked on his Who Is the Sky? Tour on Tuesday, Sept. 16, with a performance at Pittsburgh’s Benedum Center for the Performing Arts that featured more than a few surprises. After months of supporting the release of his ninth solo studio album with appearances that bridged his legacy into his next chapter, the icon’s tour opener testified to their relation by showcasing classics from throughout his five-decade discography. The undeniable highlight within the mix was “Psycho Killer,” which marked Byrne’s first treatment of the song in 19 years.

At 84 years old, Bob Dylan’s fire continues to blaze. The musician, known for pedaling lyrics steeped in poetic and philosophical influence, has been added to the artist lineup for Farm Aid 40, which will take place on Saturday, September 20, at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn. Dylan’s imminent appearance will represent a home state return and another chapter of his event participation which extends back to the first concert held in 1985.

After closing out his time at The Ryman with special guests Béla Fleck [Sept. 14] and Sam Bush [Sept. 15], Billy Strings shared a new series of Winter Tour dates, slated to begin over two nights on the Akin Ford Arena stage in Athens, Ga. The tight series of live appearances will continue on Feb. 10-14, at the ExploreAsheville.com Arena in Asheville, N.C., before a two-venue sweep of Nashville, Tenn.

Last night, Sept. 16, Vampire Weekend took the stage at Montclair, N.J.’s Wellmont Theater to continue a historic trip to the Garden State. In the midst of an exhaustive world tour that’s kept them on the road since May, the indie-rock vanguard’s return to their roots has met the monumental occasion by exceeding their high standards, and Tuesday’s performance maintained their momentum with a fistful of fresh covers and rarities.

Goose have unveiled the initial artist lineup for Viva El Gonzo 2026. From May 7-9 of next year, the indie-groove quartet’s second annual destination festival with 100x Hospitality will bring three more days of top-tier performances to the tropical paradise of San José del Cabo, Mexico’s El Ganzo Oasis, featuring three headline sets from the host band. Today’s announcement adds 17 other acts, led by My Morning Jacket, Cory Wong, LP Giobbi and TRACTORBEAM, The Disco Biscuits’ electronica-oriented alter-ego.

As the High Holidays approach, Relix has announced a series of free livestreams for the High Holidays services and musical celebrations staging at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl and The Cutting Room. Brooklyn Bowl’s Rosh Hashanah events on Monday, Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. and the Cutting Room’s Yom Kippur services on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. will be available to watch live on Relix’s YouTube channel as they unfold.
