Widespread Panic have announced a new West Coast tour, packing nine dates in California and Oregon into a two-week sprint from July 10-25. The celebrated Southern jam innovators’ new dates arrive as their first extended multi-city run since their 2016 fall tour, after which the sextet switched to their current emphasis on extended residencies.

Warren Haynes has announced a new presentation of his Dreams & Songs Symphonic Experience, staging at Nashville, Tenn.’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center on March 11-12, 2027. The storied Southern rock and blues singer/songwriter and guitarist will reunite with his Warren Haynes Band and the esteemed Nashville Symphony and conductor Rich Daniels, who previously collaborated with Haynes on Dreams & Songs – A Symphonic Journey in 2019 and the inaugural Dreams & Songs Symphonic Experience in 2024.

Dave Harrington has announced his departure from Taper’s Choice. Since their formation, Harrington has been an essential element in the “subversive jamband” supergroup’s alchemical synthesis, serving as both the group’s guitarist and in-house producer. In a shared announcement post, he expressed gratitude for his bandmates and hope for future crossings.

On Wednesday, Tedeschi Trucks Band returned to the Beacon Theatre for the fifth installment of their ongoing venue-specific residency, which included guest slots extended to Wilco’s Nels Cline and Future Soul producer, Mike Elizondo. Prior to their arrival on the fabled Big Apple stage, husband and wife Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks spent part of Tuesday at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where they performed a short set as part of the PBS series “The Art of Music,” which also provided a window for Tedeschi to play Mississippi John Hurt’s 1955 Gibson acoustic J-50 from The Met’s guitar collection.

Devon Allman has had a busy 24 hours. The Southern rock torchbearer unveiled the dates and locations for his imminent 20 Years Strong Tour, which is intended to mark two decades since the release of his first album, the Honeytribe’s Torch. During the impending run, the bandleader will walk his six-piece band through material from each era of his career, promising “one song off every single album.” In addition to the forthcoming tour, Allman took the stage last night and put to use Jimi Hendrix’s 1968 Fender Stratocaster for a sold-out Tokyo audience.

There, two new dates were listed: June 6-7, at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville, Wash.

From August 8-9, 2026, more than 20 artists will appear across four stages when the Eagle River Jamboree returns to the Eagle County Fairgrounds in the Centennial State. The weekend event has extended entertainment slots for top-tier artists, such as Robert Randolph and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, who top the list of festival contributors.
